Take a break anyplace comfortable to your body, sitting, standing, laying, reclining; they all can work with this.
Comfortable? Good. Give yourself a big hug; wrap your arms around your chest and place your fingers under your armpits and your thumbs will be on your chest just below your clavicle pointing up. Don't worry if you can't quite reach things or the thumbs are a bit side ways...it is all in the intention. Close your eyes and breath normally in and out the nose, yep, the nose. As you inhale visualize the breath coming up your back and as you exhale see it going down the front...so now with each normal inhale up the back and exhale down the front you are creating a beautiful circle of the breath of life around you. Comfortable, hugging & breathing? Super. One last thing, do this for a total of 36 exhales. If you lose count just start again or start from any number you remember exhaling. Why count? Well, it is said that the mind can't get into trouble when it is counting...
